MediScan Pro - Meds & Refills Privacy Policy
MediScan Pro - Meds & Refills is developed by ClinSol Services Inc. and is designed to help people manage medications with a local-first experience for schedules and dose history, while also supporting cloud-assisted prescription scanning.
What we collect
MediScan Pro - Meds & Refills stores medication schedules, dose history, settings, and optional backup/sync configuration that you enter while using the app.
How your data is used
- To show your medication schedule, reminders, adherence history, and refill tracking.
- To generate on-device insights about routines and adherence trends.
- To extract prescription label text when you choose to use scan assist.
- To support optional export and optional cloud sync features when enabled by you.
On-device first design
Your medication records are stored locally on your device by default. You can export your data manually. Optional cloud features only apply if you enable them and configure them.
Camera and microphone
- Camera access is used only when you choose to scan a prescription label.
- Microphone or speech recognition features are used only when you start voice logging.
Notifications
Notification permissions are used to deliver medication reminders and reminder-related alerts.
Third-party services
MediScan Pro - Meds & Refills may use Google Cloud Vision to process prescription label images that you choose to scan so the app can extract medication details. These scanned label images are sent only when you choose to use scan assist. Optional cloud sync only applies if you enable and configure it.
Data retention and deletion
You can clear your local data from within the app. Exported files and any optional synced copies are under your control and should be handled carefully.
